According to regulations from the Ministry of Coal Industry, the overhaul cycle for hydraulic supports is every 2-3 years of use or after mining 1-2 million tons of coal. Under standard operating conditions and with regular maintenance, the overhaul cycle is typically around 5 years, but this needs to be adjusted based on the actual working conditions of the coal mine, production processes, and equipment status.
The overhaul cycle is based on the clear requirements of Document No. 133 (86) from the Ministry of Coal Industry: the overhaul requires disassembly and inspection of the core components and critical parts of the support (columns, jacks, valves, high-pressure pipes, etc.), replacement of seals, and pressure testing. Surface treatment and documentation are also required to ensure the support's performance is restored.

During the hydraulic support overhaul, to facilitate more convenient and accurate inspection of each component, the hydraulic support surface needs to be cleaned and then disassembled. However, due to the large amount of coal dust covering the surface of the hydraulic support, the cleaning process has been a persistent problem in the overhaul process, characterized by low cleaning efficiency and significant water waste.
To address the cleaning problem before the hydraulic support overhaul, Guangyuan Equipment provides a high-pressure water jet hydraulic support cleaning system. This system consists of a loading area, transport track, transport trolley, enclosed cleaning chamber, cleaning robotic arm, ultra-high-pressure cleaning machine, water storage tank, mud-water separation system, and slag storage tank. It can automatically clean the surface of the hydraulic support.
After the hydraulic support is moved to the cleaning station, six-axis robotic arms on both sides hold the cleaning nozzle assembly to perform circular cleaning of the hydraulic support. The nozzles rotate automatically, ensuring precise, equidistant, and comprehensive high-pressure water jet scanning and cleaning of the hydraulic support's outer surface.
